The U.S. Department of Energy is issuing a request for task order proposals to pre-qualified firms who have been issued a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for material disposition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 16.7. The instant task order (DE-AT05-04OR23037) requires the contractor to process and provide final disposition for certain quantitles of surplus, obsolete, radioactively contaminated weapons components, equipment, and materials at its licensed facility and disposition the resultant declassified materials in accordance with its task order proposal. The Department conducts vendor prequalification and awards BOAs annually.
