DESCRIPTION The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Epiq Solutions 165 Commerce Drive Suite 204 Schaumburg, IL 60173 to provide a Matchstiq Software Defined Radio (SDR). Epiq Solutions is the only source that can provide the Matchstiq Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Matchstiq unit, JTAG breakout board, and SDK for developing custom software applications. The SDR's must have operating capability within the 300Mhz to 3.8 Ghz frequency band, with RF channel bandwidths to 28Mhz. The units must contain integrated CPU and FPGA, as well as GPS. The units must be capable of hosting run-time loadable/executable software applications and must provide 32GB of onboard data storage. The units are required for research and development in small and micro Unmanned aerial systems, size, weight and power are critical. The units must weigh 5oz's or less, have a volume of less than 9.5 cubic inches and consume less than 3watts of power. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within eleven (11) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334511.
