ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Yankton, South Dakota Marne Creek Bank Stabilization General Notice The City of Yankton (Owner) is requesting Sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project: Marne Creek Bank Stabilization BAI No. 23371.00 Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Commission of City of Yankton, South Dakota at 416 Walnut Street, Yankton, South Dakota, at the office of the City Finance Officer of said City until Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM local time. At that time the Sealed Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Meeting Room “B” of City Hall, Yankton, South Dakota. Submittal of the Bid shall be in accordance with Article 14 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Project includes the following Work: · Furnish and Install approximately 33,450 SF of 6” Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk · Furnish and Install approximately 2,510 Ton of Class B Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 6,809 Ton of Class C Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 3,845 Ton of Class D Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 925 Ton of Special Class B Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 4,736 Ton of Special Class C Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 1,102 Ton of Special Class D Riprap · Furnish and Install approximately 222 CuYd of Bank and Channel Protection Gabions · Furnish and Install approximately 1,102 Ton of Special Class D Riprap · 4,404 CuYd of Unclassified Excavation · Furnish and Install approximately 4,068 CuYd of Imported Topsoil · Furnish and Install approximately 17,496 Ea of Riparian Pole Plantings · Furnish and Install approximately 4,457 Ea of Containerized Upland Plantings · All other miscellaneous work required not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction contract documents. Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $3,200,000 to $3,600,000. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Banner Associates, Inc. 2507 W. 57th Street, Suite 102 Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57108 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon a non-refundable payment in the sum of $72.25 including applicable taxes and fees for each set of Bidding Documents. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of electronic or paper Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. Additionally, if a paper copy is provided under the conditions of SDCL 5-18B-1, in consideration of the documents being provided at no charge, unsuccessful bidders agree to return the documents to the office of Banner Associates, at the address listed above, within thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
