The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requests U.S.-flag tugs to provide harbor support, ship handling and personnel transfer services for the Chesapeake Bay region and surrounding waters. This contract is for tug services that cannot be satisfied with Government owned, controlled or time-chartered vessels (both current and follow-on contracts). The actual work may vary considerably from the usage estimates contained herein. The overall requirement is for three (3) tugs ; however, the Government is willing to entertain the possibility, in the solicitation phase of the requirement, of making awards to more than one company in order to meet the requirement of three (3) tugs, or any combination of offers that meet the requirement of 3 tugs.
Initial Period of Performance: 01 October 2017 - 30 September 2018, with (4) four one-year options.
