The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey request for information to improve the government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for a Socially and Disadvantaged Business (SEDB 8(a)), small business, Service Disable Veteran Owned Small business (SDVOSB), etc. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.3.
The FAA is seekiing a competent and capable contractor to perform all work necessary to complete an upcoming HVAC project. This survey will support market research obatained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. No contract of any kind will result from this announcement.

SUMMARY OF WORK (not all inclusive):
1. Replace air terminal units ("VAV boxes") in the Operations Support Wing (OSW) inlcuding connections to existing HVAC ducts and hydronic piping.
2. Replace hot water flow control valves.
3. Reinstall existing air terminal unit controllers and reconnect to existing BACnet compliant building automation system.
4. Provide testing, adjusting, and balancing for VAV systems.
