MAPLETON WATER DISTRICT MAPLETON, OREGONMAPLETON WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Bids Due 2:00 pm, March 14, 2024 INVITATION TO BIDGeneral Notice Mapleton Water District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Mapleton WTP Improvements Project Engineer's Project 972-50-22-02 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Mapleton Water District at the District's offices located at 88151 Riverview Ave. Mapleton, OR 97453, until Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be opened privately. The Project includes the following Work: Construction includes installation of a new packaged membrane water treatment system and associated civil and site work, building, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation improvements. Civil and site improvements include a new concrete slab and sidewalks, concrete block retaining wall, storm water system improvements, backwash tank relocation, new coarse separator and associated work outside the existing water treatment plant. Building improvements including an expansion of the existing building to accommodate the new equipment plus associated structural, HVAC, lighting and plumbing work. Mechanical improvements include raw and finished water piping connections, new raw water separator system upstream of the new membranes, raw and finished water pumps and piping connections new onsite sodium hypochlorite generation system and other miscellaneous mechanical work. Electrical improvements include a new diesel engine generator set with automatic transfer switch and associated electrical work. Instrumentation improvements include connections of new equipment to the control panel supplied as part of the packaged membrane water treatment system. Email: [email protected] Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website provided by the Engineer. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the Engineer as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Prospective Bidders shall obtain Bidding Documents from the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10 AM local time at the Mapleton Water Treatment Plant (physical address) located at 11419 Hwy 36, Mapleton, OR 97453. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Procurement Contract to be Assigned Owner as "Buyer" has executed a procurement contract with Filter Tech Systems, Inc as "Seller" for the procurement of goods and special services for a packaged membrane water treatment system. The materials and equipment to be provided through the procurement contract are to be furnished and delivered to the Site for installation by Contractor. Owner will assign said procurement contract to Contractor as set forth in the Agreement.
