Museum requires mannequin parts to complete museum exhibits in the War on Terror gallery. The museum mission is four fold: Preservation, Education, Research and Exhibit. The mannequins fulfill the mission of preservation and exhibit.
The heads will be placed on existing mannequins allowing the museum the flexibility of accommodating the theme of the display. The heel plates and waist brackets allow the mannequins stability in placement. The forms allow the museum the ability to use not only in exhibit, but also to process museum collections where photographs are required of uniforms. For the exhibit function, these allow the flexibility to articulate them so they fit in a role or to spotlight certain pieces of uniform or equipment when unnecessary to display a mannequin with realism or an entire mannequin.
