C. 2. Requirements

Contractor shall develop and deliver workshops ranging from one hour to three full days (six hours of instruction) covering selected topics listed below for up to 24 participants per session. The specific topics and length of the workshops will be determined by the Government.

Audience

The course audience is Department of State direct-hire (Foreign Service, Locally Employed Staff) employees in Public Affairs Sections overseas who have responsibility for, or work with, public affairs budgets and resources issues.

Learning Objectives

This training is intended to prepare students to:
• Manage the annual public affairs section budget.
• Understand and implement funding procedures to improve budget coordination with embassy and domestic Department of State elements.
• Fulfill budget and resource reporting requirements of the Office of the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs (R).
