The 341st Contracting Squadron, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to issue a solicitation for commercial services for Chapel Pianist service. The requirement will be set aside for small business entities for a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 711130 and the small business size standard is $11M.

The contractor will furnish personnell required to provide piano accompaniment support for the Malmstrom Catholic Masses, Protestant worship services and memorial/funerals. All services shall be performed at the Base Chapel, 315 72nd St. N. Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT 59402.

Initial performance period shall run from 21 July 2017 through 20 July 2018, with four one-year option periods through 20 July 2022 and the possibility of option to extend services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8. The total contract period of performance will not exceed 5 years. The resultant solicitation will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) with an anticipated single contract award based on commercial procedures found in the FAR Parts 12 and 13. This synopsis is valid as of Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95.
