Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-16-Q-0029 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to MAK Technologies, Inc, 150 Cambridgepark Drive STE 3, Cambridge, MA 02140 the quantity of one (1) MAK RTI Protection Plan Maintenance with Part Number RTI-STL-MN and the quantity of one (1) Port Renewal - RTI on RHEL5 g++ 4.1 with Part Number - MAK-PORT in accordance with the attached SF18: Request for Quotations.  MAK Technologies, Inc is deemed to be the only vendor authorized to provide these protection plans and port renewals as they are the original equipment manufacturer and introduction of any similar items by another manufacturer is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, compatibility, performance and cost.

Please include shipping/freight cost to Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12.  The order shall be firm fixed price.  

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. 

In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).  Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
