The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bruker AXS of Madison, WI for maintenance of Bruker D8Advance X-Ray Diffractometer.  Bruker AXS is the sole proprietor of all Bruker AXS Inc. equipment (including parts). It is the only company that can service, manufacture and distribute parts for the equipment. Further, Bruker AXS Inc. equipment is manufactured and serviced only by employees of Bruker AXS Inc. Bruker AXS has not provided authorization for other companies to assemble and service its equipment.
