THIS SYNOPSIS IS AN ADVANCE NOTICE FOR INFORMATION, MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Potential Sources are being sought to provide Base Civil Engineering (CE) Services, under NIACS: 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The Base Civil Engineering Services will require: The contractor shall provide all material, tools, supplies, equipment, supervision, transportation and labor necessary to repair and maintain the central heat, chilled water systems, and the Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units at Onizuka Air Force Station, Sunnyvale, California. The contractor shall provide and maintain all records and reports for the CRAC units. This sources sought synopsis is a notice for information and planning purposes only, it is not a pre-solicitation notice. Potential interested sources are required to respond to this notice no later than 1 September 2008. Firms interested should respond in writing to include Company name, CAGE Code, Business size and classification (e.g. Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) Small Business, etc.), and a point of contact (to include phone number and e-mail address). This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis is to be used as a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources before issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this sources sought request. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.
