The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District intends to solicit for maintenance at Erie Pier, located northwest shore of St. Louis Bay, Duluth Minnesota.

This project work includes, but not limited to install approximately 90 feet of 3"x10" timber fender and 440 feet of 5"x12" timber fender. All timber fenders will be attached to existing concrete with mechanical concrete anchors. Construct a gravel ramp approximately 18 feet wide and 120 feet long to provide access from lower berm to higher berm. Regrade the cross slope of approximately 1500 lineal feet of existing gravel road. Material needed for regarding will be on site. Perform survey of area before and after regrading. Install approximately 18,000 sft of biodegradable erosion control mats. Fabricate and install 2 steel manhole covers. One manhole cover to be approximately 10 feet in diameter and the other is approximately 6 feet x 14 feet. Manhole covers will be supported by concrete manholes; no anchor installation is required. Rebuild approximately 3,000 lineal feet of berm crest. Material for rebuilding crest will be on site. Perform survey of berm crest before and after regrading. Regrade an area of existing material approximately 1600 feet x 50 feet. Perform survey of area before and after regrading. Clear and grub an area approximately 1200 feet x 60 feet.

This action is being procured as a 100% Small Business Set-aside.

The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract.
