This purchase is for the following renewal: 1) Aperio Service and Support for a Scanscope FL (s/n 6146) with Spectrum Plus, 4TB Server, Analysis Accelerator System and a 2x3 Tray FL for the period of: 12/28/2011-12/27/2012; 2) Aperio Service & Support for a Scanscope XT (s/n 1282) with Spectrum Plus, 8TB Server and Image Analysis Toolbox for the period of: 5/5/2012-12/27/2012. One Slide Tray for XT for the period of: 4/21/2012-12/27/2012. The Aperio Scanscope is compatible with the equipment/infrastructure already existing in the IC for which the training, operating, and data pipelines have been designed. Aperio Technologies, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole distributor for these instruments.  Interested parties may identify their interest and capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal; however, all responses received within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
