This procurement is set-aside for a small business that has the ability to provide the requirement listed above. A Firm-Fixed Price Requirements purchase order with a 12 month base year and 4 option years is anticipated. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to the award of an order. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web page for any amendments.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Part I: General Information
A. Introduction
Parts and Labor Maintenance Agreement for Molecular Devices SpectraMax M2e Microplate Cuvette Reader.
B. Scope
The instrument is an automated microplate fluorescence and absorbance septrophotometer, which is used by multiple users for reading results of Enzyme Immuno Assay (EIA or ELISA) experiments. Due to the frequency of use, continuous maintenance coverage is imperative and instrument parts must be replaced regularly.
Part II: Work Requirements
A. Technical Requirements
Field Comprehensive Service Plan which includes:
Unlimited service (On-site labor, travel and repair parts)
Once scheduled preventative maintenance visit per year
Hardware and software updates
Loaner unit (subject to availability)
Field Performance Certification, which includes:
On-site labor, travel & repair parts
Re-inspection and preventative maintenance

Part III: Supporting Information
A. Security
Person that comes to work on the instrument is required to use public parking lot and to be issued a temporary pass. Person would also be required to report to guard at Bldg 29B, who will contact FDA employee. FDA employee must escort person to and from work location.
B. Place of Performance
The work would be performed is located (NIH Bldg 29, Rm 305).
C. Period of Performance
9/4/2010 - 9/3/2011 with 4 option years.
