The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to BioNiQuest Lab Services, Inc., 696 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Danville, CA, 94526, for annual maintenance service agreement, including unlimited coverage of original equipment manufacturer parts, labor, travel, maintenance, repairs and upgrades one (1) Avanti J301, Serial Number JKY05E05; one (1) Allegra 25R, Serial Number A2C02D061; two (2) Allegra X12R, Serial Numbers ALX05F03 and ALX05A98; one (1) Allegra X22R, Serial Number ALB05B042; one (1) Biomek 2K, Serial Number 4326392; two (2) L8 M80, Serial Numbers 8F853 and 8M716; and one (1) RC5C, Serial Number 8801397. Twenty-four hour response time for each service call is required. Service engineers must have training and a minimum of 5 years of experience with Beckman and Stovall instrument repairs for diagnosing and repairing the equipment in a timely manner. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because this is the only service that can meet the requirements for preventive maintenance, parts and repairs. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
