The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to BioNiQuest Lab Services, Inc., 696 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Danville, CA, 94526, for annual maintenance service agreement, including unlimited coverage of parts (including external computer, 32 karat software and consumables such as lamps, power supply, valves, injector, seals, gaskets, etc.), labor, travel at 100%, and one preventive maintenance inspection of two (2) Beckman HPLC 127 with UV detector 166, Serial Numbers 468-1477 and 468-1480; two (2) Beckman HPLC 128 with UV detector 166 and computer, Serial Numbers 410-1218 and 451-1232; and three (3) Beckman Pace MDQ with computer and 32 karat software, Serial Numbers 3060115, 3060948 and 3062016. Guaranteed service within 48 hours is required. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because this is the only service that can meet the requirements for preventive maintenance, parts and repairs. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
