The proposed contract is for but not limited to maintaining existingfirebreaks at Moody AFB and Grand Bay Range, Ga. Work consists of disking (harrowing) previously constructed permanent firebreaks using a bulldozer or farm tractor with disk harrow, followed by planting and fertilizing. A total of thirty-three (33) firebreaks will be maintained. The total length of firebreaks is approximately eleven (11) miles, with individual firebreaks ranging from 200 to 4,025 feet. A table delineating individual firebreak lengths and locations is attached to the solicitation package. All work shall be in strict compliance with the Technical Provisions. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract. Magnitude of proposed project is less than $25,000. Issue date on 10 Mar 00.
