Magnolia Bench Mastication, Phase II, 761 acres

The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado, has a requirement for mastication of standing dead and live pinyon and juniper trees and mixed-mountain Shrub (Serviceberry and oakbrush) with a Contractor furnished machine at Magnolia Bench in Colorado.

Description of Work: Cut and pile pinyon and juniper trees with Contractor furnished crews and chainsaws. Mastication specifications require rubber tired mulching machines in good running condition that are equipped with a VERTICAL SHAFT hydro-axe style cutting heads capable of working on slopes up to 30 percent and mulching trees or logs up to 18 inches in diameter at breast height (DBH).

The location is approximately 17 miles southwest of Meeker, CO.

A site visit will be held (if requested) on Thursday March 9, 2023 at 10:00 at the intersection of Rio Blanco County Roads 3 and 3A. (Lat: 39°53'36.11"N, Long: 108°10'47.98"W). This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS associated with this solicitation is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services, which has a small business size standard of $30M.

Award will be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable basis. See provision 52.212-2 `Evaluation' for details of what must be included with your quote.
