The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA 209) intends to issue Firm Fixed Price Contract for a period of five years to Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing UK Limited, Cleeve Business Park, Bishop Cleeve Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL52 8TW United Kingdom, to provide Magnetometers, associated engineering services, integration support and repair of repairables. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 ("Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements"). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interesting parties may submit information, within 15 days after this synopsis is published, which will be considered by this agency. The Government reserves the right to confirm the ability of any respondent to meet the requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
