Louisville Metro Department of Corrections is seeking replacement of the walk-through metal detector (magnetometer) for the purpose of screening for contraband upon public entrance to the facility. LMDC is seeking new equipment with the following features high sensitivity and discrimination technology; high image resolution detectors, thermal imaging, accurate location pinpointing of metal targets and options which display location of target on body. Unit must be upgradeable.
