THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND REPAIR OF THE FORT RUCKER GUNNERY RANGE COMPLEX, FORT RUCKER, ALABAMA There is no solicitation available at this time. The Fort Rucker Directorate of Contracting, Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Fort Rucker, Alabama, is conducting Market Research to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirement and to determine the extent of interested business concerns for this acquisition. Interested business concerns are invited to provide capabilities statement (not to exceed 10 pages) demonstrating ability and any prior experience in providing the following: O peration, Maintenance, and Repair Services for a Gunnery Range Complex. These services are to be performed at U.S. Army Warfighting Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama, during the approximate timeframe FY08-FY12. The range and training complex covers approximate ly 57,800 acres in Dale and Coffee Counties. The services consist of the following: Fabricate, requisition, store, maintain and operate equipment and targets for the operation of the Aviation Gunnery Range and other ranges within the proximity of Fort Ruc ker, Alabama; perform organizational, direct and general support, preventive maintenance, and repair on range materials, computer controlled hardwired target devices, and moving targets; operate moving and stationery targets as required by the using units; inspect, maintain, and repair the range and training complex and related real property and appurtenances including, but not limited to, target berms, service roads, permanent foxholes and bunkers, drainage pipes and systems, sediment control structures, t erraces, fences and gates, parking lots, vegetation control, electrical power, and data lines from the entrance of administrative areas to all targets and buildings; perform range supply, maintenance, administrative and operational functions; and prepare a nd submit reports as required. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561210, Facilities Support Services, and the small business size standard is $32.5 Million. The current contract value has averaged $3 .5 million per year during fiscal years 2003 through 2007.
