This advertisement is to notify all interested parties that Luke Air Force Base is soliciting public comment regarding the “DRAFT” Statement of Work (SOW) for the follow-on contract for range services located at the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field and Barry M. Goldwater Range, Arizona. The draft SOW is available for viewing/down loading Luke internet web page at http://www.luke.af.mil. No telephone questions/ comments will be accepted. Notice: This is a draft document only and additional changes may be made as necessary. Operation and Maintenance Gila Bend AFAF and Barry M. Goldwater Range is located in southern Arizona. The contractor shall be required to provide services that include but are not limited to Airfield/Manned Range Services & Meteorological, Civil Engineering, Fire and Emergency Response, Security Forces, Logistics, Lodging, Air Traffic Control, Custodial, Trash and Refuse, Environmental Engineering, Range Maintenance, Biological and Environmental Services. This requirement is a 100% Set-Aside for qualifying small business concerns. The NAIC Code is 561210; Size Standard: $23,000,000.00. All contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of any resultant contract. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 02 September 03. Source selection will be based on best value utilizing Price/Performance Trade Off W/Technical (PPTO). The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for the acquisition. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded for a base period with seven option periods.
