This is a Notice of Intent to award a Single Source Firm Fixed Price contract to Lynda.com, Inc., located at 6410 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013-2925, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  This requirement is for (1) Enterprise training license 3B4D, and (2) Enterprise training license 3B3D in support of Marine Corps University, Quantico, Virginia. Lynda.com has established propriety rights on their data (training and training development process).  Lynda.com do no share this data and it is not made available to the public.  Lynda.com is the only authorized distributor for these services and they do not have any authorized distributors. The period of performance for this requirement is 28 Sep 2016 - 27 Sep 2017. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
