Lucky Peak Nursery's container program uses growing media to grow all of their container seedlings. It is imperative (to assure our customers a predictable, robust seedling) that we order a blend of 75% Growers grade Peat Moss and 25% Coarse Vermiculite, screened for large debris, wetting agent and no fertilizer.  As needed, growing media will be requested by placing calls against the best value BPA. The Lucky Peak Nursery will reach out to contractors prior to the sowing period with requested amount of growing media needing to be delivered by the set date, no later than. 10-15 days in advance is the ideal period for growing media storage on the Nursery grounds prior to the sowing period. The Lucky Peak Nursery Personnel will contact the contractor approximately one month prior to the delivery date for amount being requested.
