Pre-solicitation Notice: Lucid Mobile-Key Conversions
This proposed contract action is for IT Maintenance Services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a sole source requirement that is proprietary to Centre for Biological Information Technology, University of Queensland. No other supplies or services will satisfy the government's needs. The Centre for Biological Information Technology is the only manufacturer of the Lucid Mobile. This is a requirement of the USDA-APHIS, PPQ, CPHST, NWML at Fort Collins, Colorado. The requirement is for site wide license and service agreement for Lucid Mobile and includes Conversion of up to thirteen (13) exiting Lucid based ITP keys to mobile formats that includes assistance with optimizing and converting associated multimedia materials to mobile formats. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within 2 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether it will become necessary to conduct a competitive procurement.
