This synopsis serves to announce the Department of Defense Education Activity's (DoDEA) intent to acquire recurring maintenance services from Lucid Technologies to host Buildings OS Core Platform to allow the energy dashboards installed in new 21st Century Schools to be utilized in the education of students. The information from mechanical systems, weather sensors, and building automation are used through Lucid programs to operate the system. Lucid has proprietary rights and to obtain the software and future updates to meting educational specifications it must be updated and licensed each year for the schools currently with Energy Dash Boards installed and any future school that is renovated with the new educational system.

This contract will be for a 9-month base period effective 1 July 2019 through 31 March 2020; and four 12-month option periods which may be exercised as required to maintain continuity of the services.

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201e. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP or as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely the responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
