SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, on the behalf of the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) project, is seeking sources for a optical bench (AKA grid) for the LSST camera.  The camera is to be installed in a ground based observatory.  The camera will have a 65 cm focal plane constructed from CCD and wavefront guide sensors.

The grid shall support, align and position the sensors inside a cryostat vacuum enclosure.  The LSST optics and scale of the focal plane dictate extreme mechanical requirements in a demanding environment for optimum form and stability, provided by the grid.  Technical performance specifications and drawings are included in this posting.
