The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with CYTEK BIOSCIENCES INC Description LSRFortessa filter upgrades 4-lasers (488nm, 405nm, 640nm, & 561nm) 16 fluorescent detectors (2 off of the 488, 6 off of the 405, 3 off the 640, & 5 off the 561) FSC and SSC off of the 488nm laser Installation included (shipping extra) 1-Year parts, travel, and labor warranty This BD Fortessa Flow system is already in place and being used for ongoing clinical trial research at the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology. The filters and associated upgrades must be compatible with the existing equipment, which is under a service contract with Cytek. To maintain research integrity, with patient studies, it is critical that new variables are NOT introduced to the study. Support of the Division of Intramural Research, NIAID, NIH. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements.
