BACKGROUND:
The USCG Medium Range Surveillance Maritime Patrol Aircraft (HC-144) is a transport and surveillance aircraft that is used to perform search and rescue, enforce laws and treaties, marine environmental protection, military readiness, and international ice patrol missions. The USCG currently operates a fleet of HC-144 aircraft that utilize components manufactured by Rockwell Collins to support communication, surveillance, navigation, and pilot control systems essential to flight operations and missions.
SYNOPSIS:
USCG, Aviation Logistics Center, Elizabeth City, North Carolina is seeking alternate sources that can provide the parts listed under the section "Description of Components". All parts shall be new condition. The part numbers identified are authorized by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Rockwell Collins, thus alternate items cannot be considered. All possible sources must provide traceability to OEM of each part. Drawings, configurable software, or specifications are not available, and cannot be furnished by the Government. All companies that can provide the components listed are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company cage code, brochures, or any other information demonstrating that they can provide these components.

All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information to this sources sought. All interested parties must respond to any subsequent solicitation notice published on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov.
