Work covered in contract shall be rehabilitation of Digester No. 1 and Digester Control Building No. 1. The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a new radial beam fixed cover, a Linear Motion Sludge Mixer, digester gas safety and control equipment on Digester No. 1, new access stairs on the cover to the mixer, and associated piping modifications. Work at the Digester Control Building includes, but is not limited to, modifications to the existing overflow box; installation of direct feed configuration; installation of new sludge recirculation pumps, a new sludge heat exchanger, a secondary hot water recirculation pump, and associated piping for Digester No. 1 heating; and miscellaneous piping, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and architectural improvements to the building.
