Eastern Washington University ("EWU”) is initiating this Request for Qualifications and Quotations (“RFQQ”) to solicit Proposals from firms to provide low-coverage, whole-genome shotgun sequencing of complex metagenomic samples from lichens. All samples will have low DNA content (100 ng) and thus will require a library preparation method compatible with low quantities. Sequencing will be conducted on the Illumina platform at 20X coverage of 60 Megabase genomes.
