The objective of this project is to effectively continue noxious weed management and treatment
during the growing season using chemical controls within the known and discovered noxious
weed infestations on the New Meadows Ranger District treatment area. Treatment areas will be
focused in the Lost Valley Reservoir area in Adams County. It will also focus on the travel routes associated
with recreation in Adams County. The purpose of the joint project is to
inventory, treat and eradicate noxious species from public land. In the project area, there is 1090
acres of known weed infestation. The purpose and expected outcome are to control and reduce
the number of acres infested.
