This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement services to plant Shortleaf pine seedlings on 136 acres. Planting will be completed on the Croatan Ranger District, New Bern, North Carolina see attached maps. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, supplies and incidentals except as listed under government furnished property to perform all work required to complete Longleaf pine plantings in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of this contract.
This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.

The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used.
