To maximize usage of mobile devices and wireless connectivity across all Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) bases, wireless is an essential enabling capability. Expanded cellular coverage is needed on all AFRC bases where missions are performed both within indoor facilities and in outdoor mission areas with various natural and man-made structures as well as common areas and lodging. Cellular coverage must be improved at all sites where the AFRC citizen airmen operate for maximum effectiveness, provided the operation of cellular equipment does not interfere with the AFRC mission / spectrum. Cellular coverage on AFRC locations varies widely; some locations have adequate coverage throughout outdoor locations while others have partial or virtually no access to a cellular signal.
