The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/East Africa/ Regional Acquisition and Assistance Office, intends to award a five year contract and is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to implement a logistics Program in Eastern Congo (DRC) In support of Office of U.S Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) activities in DRC as fully described in Section D of this Solicitation. You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of the enclosed RFP No. SOL 623-10-000020. Only business entities currently operating in the DRC are eligible to compete under this solicitation.
Contractors will be expected to provide logistic and administrative services to USAID/OFDA staff and authorized United States Government (USG) temporary duty (TDY) personnel while traveling in North and South Kivu provinces in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for official business. Logistic and administrative support is required particularly for the care and maintenance of OFDA-owned vehicles based in Goma (North Kivu) and Bukavu (South Kivu).
