LNG Firefighting training is for 18 USCG personnel and the curriculum shall cover topics such as the physical characteristics of LNG and propane, hazards posed by LNG, regulations on LNG transportation, and LNG emergency response. The curriculum shall include a review of firefighting equipment and scenarios. A demonstration of both an LNG and propane fire shall be incorporated in the course to provide hands-on training. There shall be various scenarios for each fire type (vertical, tank, truck etc.) All equipment shall be provided by the school.
