The government is still working on the strategy for this requirement. The government also has set a TENTATIVE date for an industry day on the morning of 25 July 2012.

The Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, vehicles, labor and any other items/services necessary to operate and maintain a high level of systems availability, performance, and support for the Hill AFB Trunked Land Mobile Radio System (TLMRS) and associated equipment as defined in this Performance-Based Work Statement except as specified in Section 3, as Government-Furnished Work Space and Government-Furnished Equipment at Hill AFB, Oasis Range, Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR), Dugway Proving Grounds (DPG), Frisco Peak, Hornet Peak, Bovine Peak, Little Mountain, Wendover, Nevada, Camp Williams, or equivalent to a radial distance of 250 miles from Hill AFB. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.

Draft PWS will follow prior to Industry day, all questions and comments will be welcomed.

Contract type: 5yr IDIQ FFP contract

Period of performance: Task Orders as a 1yr base with four (4) 1yr options.  Option 5 may be exercised in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, option to Extend Services, as necessary

Offerors will be given 30 days to submit a proposal, starting from date of issue of solicitation. Anticipated RFP release date is 15 Aug 2012.
