The 36th Contracting Squadron INTENDS TO MAKE A SOLE-SOURCE AWARD to Motorola, Inc. for Land Mobile Radio Maintenance (LMR). This requirement is in support of existing LMR services in Diego Garcia. This award will consist of maintenance and technical support for an LMR system, which is a Motorola SMARTNET System, CENTRACOM Gold Elite Console System, SITE LENS and Motorola subscribers. Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b) and 13.501, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only on source reasonably available. interested parties are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience and data pertinent to their ability to provide the same equipment for use in this project that meet this requirement no later than 15 Jan 2009 at 16:30 pm (ChST(GMT + 10)). Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm’s capability to provide the required equipment. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of an evaluation of the information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in the Contracting Officer's assessment of capable sources.
