This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106-1(b)(1) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source.

The contractor shall perform troubleshooting of the ASTRO 25 7.7 radio system, determine if simple adjustments can be made to enable a complete diagnostic of all the various subsystems within the ASTRO 25 architecture. The contractor shall travel to Moody AFB triage the system and provide a report of findings.

This requirement is to purchase troubleshooting and evaluation at Moody Air Force Base on a system manufactured by Motorola Inc. Only authorized sources can provide maintenance and testing services on this equipment. For this reason, this requirement is being solicited single source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
