The purpose of this special notice is to synopsize an upcoming award as well as post the sole source justification for the award in question. As a result, this special notice also seves as the USCG's intent to sole source. Specifically, the USCG is obtaining access to the Lloyd's List Database at a total value of less than the simplified acquisition threshhold (>$150,000). Please see the attached sole source justification. This special notice shall satisfy the USCG's synopsis and sole source justification posting requirements.
