SUBSTANCE:
Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan hereby gives notice of intent to award a fixed-firm price contract on a sole source basis with LIVINGWORKS EDUCATION USA INC, 440 Summerlea Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28311 under authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i).
DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/ SERVICES:
Requirement: LivingWorks Education 24 - Person Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training for Trainers course (ASIST T4T) and ASIST Trainer Kits
Description:
1. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) Training for Trainers (T4T) Course for 24 trainer candidates. ASIST T4T certification requires the individual to complete a five-day course. A comprehensive package of trainer materials is provided to each trainer. All students who pass the course are provided official certifications by LivingWorks to teach the 2-day ASIST Intervention program.
2. ASIST Trainer Kits. A comprehensive package of trainer materials.
3. Place of Performance: MCAS Iwakuni Chapel, Bldg. 625, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan
4. Period of Performance : 24 Feb 2020 - 28 Feb 2020 / 2 Mar 2020 - 6 Mar 2020
ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: 24 January 2020
The government intends NOT to request for competitive quotes. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Firms believing they can provide the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training for Trainers course listed above must provide written notification within 3 business days of the posting date of this notice to the Contract Specialist with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. The due date and time response is 1/17/2020 at 4:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time. Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 611430 which is $11M.
