The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Sequoia Scientific, Inc in Bellevue, Washington for one LISST-HOLO Submersible Digital Holographic Camera to be delivered to Woods Hole, MA. by September 16, 2010. A.) Sequoia Scientific, Inc is the only known source for this requirement because the proposed contractor is the only known manufacturer to make a digital holography device for in situ measurements of particles in the water. B.) This is the only known digital holography device capable of profiling and extended deployment in the marine environment. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
