The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a non-commercial requirement for the facilities, fabrication services and material required to manufacture, test and inspect lip seals to be installed onto the capsule of the Composite Capsule Launching System (CCLS) All-Up-Rounds (AURs) variants. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for the following items:
CLIN 0001 Lip Seal Assembly, P/N JCM-16664-001 in accordance with Navy Distribution D drawing JCM-1666, 870 Each.
CLIN 0002 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) 1 Each.
NUWCDIVNPT intends to award the Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole make and model basis (no substitutions allowed). The basis for the sole make and model is that Parker-Hannifin is the sole manufacturer of the Lip Seal Assembly that is used to load a Composite Capsule Launching System (CCLS) Tomahawk All-Up-Rounds (AURs) onto a USN submarine. Although Parker-Hannifin is the sole manufacturer, Parker-Hannifin products can be purchased by the Government from an authorized Parker-Hannifin distributor. All distributors are required to submit the following documentation: Parker-Hannifin General Distribution Agreement and a Parker-Hannifin Authorized Distributor Letter with their offer that identifies them as Parker-Hannifin authorized distributors. Distributor authorizations with be verified by the Government with Parker-Hannifin prior to award.
Required delivery is 12 weeks after the date of award, F.O.B Destination, Newport, RI 02841.
Offerors must be JCP Certified to request the drawing.
This requirement is a small business set-aside sole make and model procurement as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Program (OSBP). Additional details will be released upon issuance of the Request for Quote (RFQ) N66604-17-Q-2553. The RFQ is anticipated for release on or about 10 AUG 2017. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. The delivery schedule will be established in the RFQ.
