The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee has concluded their market research and intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Chalmers and Kubeck South, 1074 Business Park Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37419. The Government intends to purchase one Limitorque Gearbox. Any parts with same or similar capabilities should be submitted with a technical package showing equivalent capabilities. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332911, size standard is 750 employees.

The anticipated award date is 1 November 2019. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Although the Government intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government if received no later than 31 October 2019 at 12:00 PM Central Standard Time.
