The following is a Request for Quote (RFQ).

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement for a contractor to provide Limber Line Pipeline Hoses.  This procurement will include delivery to the Fountain City Service Base located in Fountain City, WI on or before November 30, 2023.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 326220, Rubber and Plastics Hoses and Belting Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees.

The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract.

The solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. 

The following is a brief description of the product specifications.  They are further defined in the  solicitation.

Hose Specifications:

  • Quantity: 10
  • 20” I.D. x 63” long
  • 200 PSI Operating Pressure
  • Molded in Volcanized Steel Reinforced Flanges on both ends
  • Wire Reinforced
  • 1” Black Gum Rubber Tube

Flanges:

  • Number of Holes: 24
  • Bolt Circle Diameter: 27”
  • O.D. Flange Diameter: 30”
  • Flange Thickness: 1-1/4”
  • Diameter of the Bolts: 1-1/8”

As required by 15 U.S.C. 644(w), the Corps of Engineers’ policy and procedures, as well as past performance information, in regard to definitization of requests for equitable adjustments is found at https://www.usace.army.mil/Business-With-Us/Partnering.
