United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, Seattle, WA intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price award to Brooks Applied Labs, LLC, 18804 North Creek Pkwy STE 100, Bothell, WA 98011 IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The justification for the sole source is based on water/zooplankton sample testing capabilities and continuity for a joint study in coordination with the USGS, EPA, and Montana DEQ currently being provided by Brooks Applied Labs, LLC. Brooks Applied Labs satisfies all current user requirements including testing of water and zooplankton samples for Selenium, Lead, and Cadmium.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.

Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
