LHM 420 LIEBHERR HARBOR CRANE REPAIR & SERVICES NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Notice is hereby given that proposals for LHM 420 Liebherr Harbor Crane Repair and Services will be received at the Administration Offices of the Port of Bellingham, 1801 Roeder Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225 until 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: All necessary parts of all types including electrical components, wires, gears, spare keys, etc. Any/all fluids & oils necessary for maintenance Equipment needed to install parts and perform maintenance Cost of shipping parts any/all, equipment and tools to Bellingham, WA from any location, domestic or foreign (and back to point of origin if applicable) Import duties on parts applicable Labor needed to install the parts and perform necessary maintenance Protective Clothing/footwear/winter wear for any/all vendor staff utilized Travel/Meals/Car Rental/other incidental expenses of parties performing the labor/maintenance Vendor will guarantee, in writing, that the crane can pass all necessary requirements to be OSHA Certified. Note “Buy American” provisions do not apply to this RFP. This work is subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates and all Service Providers and Subcontractors will be required to file (1) Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages and (2) Affidavit of Wages Paid with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). All proposals submitted shall be considered valid until January 31, 2022 and not contain any escalation clause. All proposals become property of the Port of Bellingham and are subject to public disclosure laws per RCW 42.56.
