Los Angeles County, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) #23-04-001 for the LGBTQIA2S+ Tailored Services Program. The LGBTQIA2S+ Tailored Services Program aims to implement programs that address service gaps to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and/or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit, and the countless affirmative ways in which people choose to identify, youth and families. This multi-faceted, targeted, holistic, and affirming approach has the potential of saving countless lives, reducing self-harming behaviors, and promoting the full experience and essence of LGBTQIA2S+ youth. These tailored services will also focus on building affirming behaviors in parent(s), caretaker(s), and legal guardian(s) in order to support healthy family reunification, promote safety, and post-reunification stability.
