Solicitation N00421-14-T-0034 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on sole source basis with SCHNEIDER OPTICS (Schneider Optics is the only known Manufacturer), under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 and under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and Total small business set-aside authority FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 5:00 PM EST 19 November 2013 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
